Crispy Chicken Wings
Ingredients
1 Chicken wings 8
2 Yogurt 1/2 cup 100
3 Lemon juice 2 tablespoons 30.4
4 Ginger Paste 1/2 teaspoon 3.5
5 Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon 2
6 Baking Soda 1/4 teaspoon 1.25
7 Egg white 2 whites 90
8 Sugar 2 teaspoons 8
9 Food Colour 1 pinch 0.5
10 Flour (Maida) 2 tablespoons 15.5
11 Salt 1 to taste 1
12 Oil for deep frying 1
Method
recipe procedure:
In a wide bowl, mix chicken wings along with yogurt, ginger paste, red food colour, lime juice, pepper powder, baking soda and salt.
Transfer the contents of the bowl to a skillet and cook on medium heat until all the liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat. In a small pan, heat sugar along with two tablespoons of water until the sugar melts. Remove from heat, cool and then add flour, salt and egg whites and whisk until the mixture turns creamy and there are no lumps of flour.
Heat oil in a deep pan, dip each wing in the above batter and drop in the oil. Fry on medium heat until they turn deep brown and then remove from oil. Repeat for the remaining wings. Serve as
